Robin van Persie shënoi një hat-trick dhe Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain tregoi gjithnjë e pjekurinë e tij me dy gola si Arsenal Blackburn mposhtur në Emirates Stadium.

Van Persie hapi rezultatin me një trokitje e lehtë-në, pasi vetëm 79 sekonda, Morten Pedersen Gamst barazoi me një goditje të lirë mahnitëse vetëm për Van Persie dhe Oxlade të Chamberlain për të vënë Arsenalin në një kryesim 3-1 gjysmë-kohor.

Mikel Arteta qëlluan në shtëpi gjashtë minuta pas pushimit, ndërsa Oxlade-Chamberlain dhe Van Persie shtuar synimet e mëtejshme dhe Thierry Henry erdhi në stol për të rrëmbyer dhe 1/7 kapak një ditë të mrekullueshme për Gunners.
